The Lamor Multi Skimmer LMS/GTC 140 DISC is a flexible high capacity free-floating disc skimmer, which is designed so it can be operated with disc, brush wheel or drum modules as selected by the customer in a triangular configuration. The LMS DISC is equippeed with three Disc bank for the recovery of light and medium oils.
Please note that the capacities shown are for the standard version of the LMS.
The LMS works equally well for near shore, shallow water skimming as for open sea operations. Surface water and oil are drawn into the skimmer by the downward rotation of the skimming devices so oil adheres to the oleophilic disc surfaces, is then scraped off of the disc into the collection sump offering minimum free water pickup typically less than 2%. The LMS recovery modules offer optimum efficiency in all oil types, including diesel, fresh crude, high viscosity bunker oil and emulsions, and collect very little free water.
The Lamor Aluminium MultiMax LAM 12W / GTA 20 / 30 skimmer design has been based on many years experience supplying high capacity and performance
The LMS 140 DISC model is fitted for the Lamor GTC 140 transfer pump assembly, from the Lamor range of Centrifugal oil transfer pumps. This pump can be easily removed from the skimmer head and then used for salvage, offloading and other transfer duties.
Standard hydraulic couplings for the skimmer head only: 3/8" TEMA 3811/3821.

The Lamor Aluminium MultiMax LAM 12W/GTA 20/30 skimmer design has been based on many years experience supplying high capacity oil recovery equipment. The skimmer frame is produced in marine grade aluminum. The standard brush units gives the skimmer clearly highest capacity and performance in different kinds of oils and conditions. The MuitiMax-type skimmer head can also be equipped with a disc or a drum skimming unit.
The LAM 12W/GTA 20/30 is a light, portable suction type oil skimmer, designed to recover oil from shore line, harbors, estuaries, rivers and lakes. This skimmer uses the well proven Lamor brush wheel system, which combines high oil recovery capacity with a low free water pick-up rate. The Lamor brush wheels will recover any floating oils which remain fluid.
The LAM 12W/GTA 20/30 frame is designed for on-board oil transfer pump assembly. The weight and power requirement are for skimmer frame only. The MultiMax 12W / GTA 20 /3 0. weighing only 26 kg (without the pump) is a hand portable skimmer with a nominal recovery rate of up to 19.6 m3/h (123.3 bbl/h) (ASTM F 631-99). The certified max capacity is 45,4 m3/h.
The LAM 12W comprises as standard a floating skimmer head incorporating two brush wheel units side by side with a diameter of 250 mm. The brush wheels rotate "with the flow", forcing the oil under the water. The oil tends to go up on the surface and at the same time sticks to the oleophilic brushes. As the brush wheels rotate, water flows off the brushes through a channel and out of the skimmer head. Collected oil is scraped off into the oil collection hopper and pumped to a recovery tank. The MuttiMax LAM 12 skimmer can optionally be equipped with disc bank or an alu or plastic drum skimmer.
The LAM 12W/GTA 20/30 is entirely hydraulic and is normally supplied complete with a Lamor diesel powered hydraulic power pack and all necessary ancillary equipment. The unit can be also delivered With a 2 1/2" Camtock connector to be connected to an effective suction pump or vacuum system.
The BV certified brush set used in the LAM 12WIGTA 20/30 has proven its efficiency in continuous recovery operations during hundreds of oil spills, in all conditions and encountering all types of spilled oil.

The Lamor Weir Skimmer LWS 500/GTA 50 is a light-weight self-adjusting weir skimmer offering a high recovery capacity. The LWS 500/GTA 50 is supplied with connecting flanges and readiness to be completed with a powerful hydraulically driven Lamor GTA 50 Archimedes screw pump which can efficiently recover and pump a wide range of oils from light products to the heaviest debris-laden emulsions.
The LWS 500/GTA 50 is manufactured from marine grade aluminum and stainless steel with 3 specially designed polyethylene floats and a single central lifting point. The skimmer incorporates a large diameter free floating weir that gives it excellent wave following characteristics. The LWS range of weir skimmers has been specifically designed to work with the wide range of Lamor GTA Archimedes screw pumps.
The Lamor GTA 50 onboard transfer pump fitted to the LWS SOO/GTA 50 is equipped with debris cutting knives and inlet water/steam injection ports as standard, providing a maximum capacity of 50m3/hr up to a discharge pressure of 12bar (174Psi). Please note that the pump always will be quoted separately. The GTA 50 pump can easily be dismantled from the skimmer and used as an independent offloading or transfer pump.
The Lamor LWS 500/GTA 50 and the capacity of the Lamor GTA 50 has been tested and certified by Bureau Veritas further backing up this systems capabilities. The LWS range can be powered from one of the range of Lamor LPP power packs, or from an independent power source using the Lamor LCP remote control panel.
